The Netherlands
European project: co-operation for a joint and cross-border care project in the towns of Dinxperlo and Suderwick.

Spain
Residences for the elderly:
Residencia Costa Tropical in Andalusia, Almuñécar
Residencia Montebello in La Nucìa, Costa Blanca, close to Alicante
Residencia Villa Augusto in Guardamar del Seguente on Costa Blanca

School:
Training for geriatric nurses for the Residencia Costa Tropical. The Ev. Johanneswerk has qualified twelve trainees so far, to provide its institutions with skilled personal.

Romania
The Ev. Johanneswerk is part of a co-operation project for geriatric care in the Romanian town of Sibiu (Hermannstadt).

Hungary
Managers of Johanneswerk institutions advise Hungarian nursing homes on management and organisational structures.

Employees take part in exchange projects.

The Ev. Johanneswerk helps to establish a school for geriatric care and care for people with disabilities in the south of Hungary.

Poland
Exchange of employees and excursions with employees of a home for people with disabilities in Beuten.


Collaboration in European networks:

The Ev. Johanneswerk is a member of several European networks:

SoCaSE PLC (Social Care Services Europe)

For several years now the Ev. Johanneswerk has been known for its activities in Europe. Residences for the elderly in Spain, a joint and cross-border institution in the Netherlands or school activities in Romania and in the Czech Republic are only some examples for a social and successful commitment in Europe. This work is backed by a network with other European organisations and associations which promotes the exchange of professional knowledge. Together with other providers of social services the Ev. Johanneswerk exerts through several committees influence on the increasingly important European social policy in Brussels.
